OTP is an ad that runs over the page. This runs from the Premium LRec and gives a larger canvas area for advertisers, creating higher impact on the starting point of Yahoo!Xtra.

• Eight-second OTP (Over-the-page) limit
• OTP's can run uninitiated but must be frequency capped at 1 view per user per day.
• OTP Panel dimensions are 820 x 340 px.
• The OTP Panel must resolve back to size 300 x 250 px
• OTP Panel should be opaque. Any creative proposal of an OTP which still retains visibility of a "switcher" content module underneath the OTP should be discussed in advance with Yahoo!Xtra to avoid functionality which may confuse the user.
• Advertisements cannot resemble Yahoo!Xtra content or mimic news headlines in design, tone, 3rd person sentence structure, or topic without prior written consent from Yahoo!Xtra.
• OTPs must have an ad feedback link(added by Yahoo!Xtra Ad Operations)
• An active close button must be visible in the top right of the OTP for the duration of the expansion. Minimum hotspot 70 x 30 px including prominent text. Stating "close". Yahoo!Xtra may move the close button to ensure users can easily find and use it. Yahoo!Xtra may also reject any close button deemed unsuitable for a particular creative.
• A replay button is not required but can be added to the end frame of the inline 300x250 banner.
• Creative is subject to Yahoo!Xtra approval
• Max filesize for the 300 x 250 px SWF is 40k.
• Max filesize for the 820 x 340 px OTP is 100k.
• Please note that if the OTP panel is of a irregular shape, that is, it isn't a complete 820x340 rectangle and/or contains transparent areas, that these transparent areas cannot be clickable.
• Note that OTP's on the Homepage cannot expand on rollover, they can however expand on click in which case the 8s time limit does not apply.

Deliverables - Yahoo!Xtra Served (10 working days leadtime):
• Yahoo!Xtra accepts Flash versions 5, 6, 7 or 8. Maximum of 24 fps. For full specs, please refer to Flash Banner Ad Guide.
• 300 x 250 px SWF (40k) and FLA. See full specs.
• 300 x 250 px alternate image - GIF or JPG (20k)
• 820 x 340 px FLA – exported SWF no more than 100k. Download the template
• All Fonts in PC Format
• See mock showing the OTP Flyover zone.
• Creative should not contain any third party ad-serving code

Third Party Ad Serving (10 working days leadtime):
• Currently the only Third Party Ad Server approved for the Homepage is Eyeblaster.
• Media Agency should traffic the placement in Eyeblaster as a Rich Banner Flight (Size 300 x 250)
• Creative shop

- Should build the banners as expandable banners built to Eyeblaster technical specification as documented here
- An Eyeblaster template Fla can be downloaded from here
- The Ad should be setup as a expandable banner in Eyeblaster with the panel set to show automatically. To ensure that the panel shows automatically please select the option ‘Upon Show: Show default panel already expanded’ from the Ad Format tab.
- Please frequency cap the panel at once per day as shown below
