Expandable

Expandable ad units offer more real estate than traditional media. The expandable panel runs in current ad positions, and you can include anything you would normally put on a web page (including additional information, dynamic data, video streaming, data collection, interactive games, and more).

Click Open / Click Close:
The creative can be set to expand with User Click; the panel retracts when the mouse is removed or with a second User Click.
Mouse Over / Mouse Off:
When the user passes a mouse over the creative, the panel expands; the panel retracts when the mouse is removed. (Option not avaliable for 728x600 or 760x600)
Animation:
The retracted ad may not animate for more than 15 seconds (looping allowed). The expanded ad may animate as long as it remains expanded.
Flash Specs: Yahoo!Xtra accepts Flash versions 5, 6, 7, 8 or 9. Maximum of 24 fps. For full specs, please refer to Flash Banner Ad Guide.

Video:
Expandable ads that use In Banner Video Streaming are also allowed. Please refer to our 3rd Party Hosted In Banner Video for more specs
Audio:
May be activated on any user click. Activation on rollover is allowed with the following restrictions:
• On rollout audio must immediately stop.
• A 1 second delay between rollover and the start of the audio is required.
• Yahoo!Xtra may reject ads which include audio on rollover that has a negative user experience.
